Empowering Women in STEM – AI4LUNGS at the Women in Business and Beyond Conference

AI4LUNGS was proudly presented at the Women in Business and Beyond Conference in Limassol, Cyprus, by our communication and dissemination leaders from Future Needs — Anna Palaiologk and Emma Tsai.

The event focused on celebrating and empowering women in fields that are often male-dominated. As a Horizon Europe project working at the intersection of healthcare and technology, AI4LUNGS used the opportunity to showcase the many female scientists and experts actively involved in shaping the project, inspiring women and girls to persue a career in STEM, and highlight the importance of having female voices in the decision making in the healthcare sector.

From scientific strategy to technical development and ethical guidance, women play an essential role in steering the success of AI4LUNGS — a true example of inclusivity in European research.
