
Taking place on May 20th 2026, the AI4LUNGS Open Workshop will explore how Artificial Intelligence, digital health technologies, and interdisciplinary collaboration are shaping the future of personalised healthcare and lung cancer care.
The workshop will present the latest developments within the AI4LUNGS project, covering topics such as user experience design for personalized patient journeys, AI-enhanced clinical decision support systems, biomarker and findings extraction using AI, and the legal and ethical dimensions of clinical data collection and sharing in European healthcare projects.
Participants will also gain early insights into clinicians’ perceptions of AI through preliminary survey results presented during the session.
Lastly, the discussion titled “Digital Twins as the Future of Personalized Healthcare”, brings together leading experts from research, healthcare, and academia to discuss the opportunities, challenges, and future impact of digital twin technologies in medicine.
