Fraunhofer ITWM on Trustworthy AI in Healthcare

We are proud to share that AI4LUNGS was represented at the event through our technical partner Dr. Alexander Scherrer from Fraunhofer ITWM, who delivered an invited talk on “AI in Healthcare.”

Fraunhofer ITWM leads the development of the clinical decision support system (cDSS) in AI4LUNGS, enabling more personalised and data-driven treatment pathways.

During his presentation, Alexander introduced insights from the project, showing how trustworthy and explainable AI can support safer, more efficient hospital workflows and improve patient care.
