Building Synergies for the Future of Respiratory Healthcare
This week, we had the pleasure of presenting AI4LUNGS during Multipulm’s synergy meeting, alongside seven other projects working towards a more innovative and practical future for respiratory healthcare!
Represented by our project coordinator, Duarte Dias, we shared AI4LUNGS’ technology and progress, highlighting our ongoing work to advance AI-driven solutions for lung health. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to connect with other projects, exchange knowledge, and explore potential areas for collaboration.
Why are synergies important now?
As AI4LUNGS enters the mid-to-late stage of the project, building synergies with other initiatives becomes increasingly important. At this point, sharing the knowledge, experience, and insights gained throughout our work can help us identify new opportunities, strengthen our research, and maximise the impact of our results.
By connecting with projects working towards similar goals, we can explore opportunities for research collaboration, exchange best practices, and learn from different approaches to addressing challenges in respiratory healthcare. These connections can also help us identify complementary expertise and technologies, creating opportunities to build on each other's progress and translate research into meaningful benefits for patients and healthcare professionals.
Ultimately, collaboration is key to ensuring that the knowledge generated through projects like AI4LUNGS contributes to a broader, more connected effort to improve lung health.
We are excited to continue exploring these opportunities and strengthening connections with initiatives that share our commitment to advancing respiratory healthcare.
A big thank you to Multipulm for bringing together such an inspiring network of projects, organisations, and people, and for creating space for knowledge exchange and collaboration!
We look forward to seeing what these synergies can bring.
Participating projects and initiatives: IPCRG, RESTORE, RE-SAMPLE, iPROLEPSIS, UNICID, HEAL-PNG, and AI4LUNGS.
